Loose Ends

It’s probably pretty clear to anyone who’s dropped by lately that this blog is dying, dead, or even eternally undead.

Before I pull the plug, suttee the body, or chop off its head and stuff the neck with garlic, I have a few thanks for the last year, folks who welcomed Runnerland…

The S. Walter Stewart branch of the Toronto Public Library
The Richview branch of the Toronto Public Library
The Centennial branch of the Toronto Public Library

Rockridge Secondary, West Vancouver

That’s the bits I can remember. Plus a few fans.

Saskia of the Terrace Public Library (can you tell I love libraries?) wrote a wonderful review. I love this bit:

This novel makes you think about how life works, and about how sometimes it’s unfair. There was a good use of language, the subject is important, and a lesson learned. It was deep and dark, light and fluffy. It was a story of teenage issues, and maybe some issues a little more grown up.

And a user called J0K10 created a YouTube video trailer. Can you believe it? How cool is that?!

If you’ve read this far, you deserve a prize. The prize is this: I’m leaving blog.com but carrying on (for now) via FaceBook. Friend me there; my email is johnburnsis - at - gmail - dot - com.

Happy New Year. Best for 09. I’m bound ‘n’ determined to finish the next novel in the coming year. Cross your fingers for me, J
